In reviewing the instructional approach at Piano Play Music Systems, it was noted that through PPMS's multidisciplinary approach to skill building(LLE), the challenging curriculum and inclusive teaching technique provides each student with an experience which enhances their emotional, social and physical skills. As a result, this contributes to the overall wellness of each child.
Research has consistently demonstrated the benefits of the arts on a child's development*. Specifically, music education has the ability to facilitate:
- language acquisition,
- reading readiness
- general intellectual development. In addition to these factors, music also fosters
- positive attitudes,
- enhances creativity and
- promote social development.
Repeatedly, these factors have been identified to contribute to the development of the emotional well child.
